Episode 1: “DREIDEL”

SETTING: OUTSIDE 

A group of kids plays Dreidel having fun. Laughing and making glib remarks. Jesus approaches the table.

JESUS: Hey guys! Mind if I play?

JOSIAH: Hey I think I gotta get home.

RACHAM: Yeah, I think I need to run, too.

GABRIEL: (Skeptical) Okay guys, I’ll see you later. Sure, you can play!

JESUS: Thank you! It’s been so long since I’ve played Dreidel.

JESUS SPINS AND GETS GIMMEL

MONTAGE OF WINNING BEGINS

JESUS: Thanks for letting me play, guys!

GABRIEL: Oh, no problem Jesus.

JESUS: It’s better to give than receive. (walks away)

KID 1: What just happened?

GABRIEL: I have no idea.

JOSIAH AND RACHAM ENTER

RACHAM: I can’t believe you actually played with him!

JOSIAH: What suckers!

GABRIEL: What? Who is he?

RACHAM: That’s Jesus, he never loses. 

JOSIAH: I hate him. He sharks us for our money then walks away all pious. 

RACHAM: Yeah. Look at him.
